The Delta variant - Te Pūtahitanga ki Te Waipounamu

Over the past couple of days we've been hearing a lot about the Delta variant and the extra steps needed to contain it. The Delta variant is especially dangerous because it is a greater threat to the health of people who catch it, AND it is the most transmissible variant of COVID-19 which makes it very difficult to contain the spread. It's why we went into a nationwide snap lockdown, it's why we need to wear masks in public places, and it's why we need to be extra careful about staying in our bubbles.
